Tasting
Notes: A big wine from Paso Robles
at a good price, considering only 312 cases were made. No
doubt that the 40 percent American new oak shows through on
this ruby, redwood bark offering from the Riboli family. Blackberry
fruit and spices of anise and oak come to your nose. A good
medium plus body with tangy fruit mouthfeel keep coming. Drinks
well now if that's all you have around but will age nicely.

Profile:
San Simeon is merely a label for a Central Coast project
the Riboli family started. The origins of Riboli Family
Wine Estates date back to 1917 when Santo Cambia established
San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles, so we're talking
several generations of traditional winemaking. Attention
to fruit and quality delivers good results for these
handcrafted products. Look for more offerings at www.riboliwines.com
