By French law, Beaujolais Nouveau can only be released from wineries on the third Thursday of November. Villagers and city folk alike take to the streets to celebrate, and now, thanks to special arrangements to fly in some of the first cases of the new wine, the party is coming to Dallas! Drop in at the InterContinental Dallas for the Beaujolais Wine Festival, starting at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy French and Texan vino along with food from the best of Dallas' restaurants. There will also be music and dancing. Tickets cost $55 in advance; $60 at the door. Admission includes a commemorative wine glass, food and wine tasting, and entertainment.
