March 19 Don and Felicity Sodaro of Sodaro Estate Winery hold their first "pre-release" wine dinner at Antonello Ristorante. The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. Some of the dishes and pairings from the four courses will include thin slices of cured beef topped with Burrata cheese and paired with a 2005 Sodaro Estate Felicity Cabernet Sauvignon) and beef ragu lasagna paired with the preview 2006 Sodaro Estate Felicity. Through March 31 Patina Restaurant Group is unveiling a collection of "Bordeaux Special Reserve" wines available at select Southern California locations. Bordeaux lovers can experience a selection of boutique and cult Bordeaux wines from the restaurant group's private reserve cellar. Wines from the region's celebrated 2000, 2003 and 2005 vintages will be available to diners at special prices of $79 to $495 a bottle (through March 31, or while inventory lasts). Through July 25 Montage Laguna Beach offers The Artistry of Wine education series on Sundays at The Loft Bistro. These weekly wine tastings and seminars are held from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and cost $35 per person. Ongoing The Costa Mesa Trader Joe's location on 17th Street is the first TJ's store in the nation to offer a free wine tasting bar.
