Montage Laguna Beach offers an Artistry of Wine education series on Sundays at The Loft. These weekly wine tastings and seminars are held from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.; the cost is $35 per person. Topics include South Africa (July 25), Pinot Grigio (August 1), Oregon (August 8), Washington State (August 15), New Zealand and Tasmania (August 22), Central Coast (August 29), farewell to summer (September 12), Western Hemisphere showdown (September 19), dessert wines (September 26), October brews (October 3), a glass full of cherries (October 17), a taste of earth (October 24), spumante and frizzanti (October 31), Southern Italy (November 7), evidence of autumn (November 14), Thanksgiving dinner (November 21), art of food and wine week (December 5, 12), Port (December 19). The Costa Mesa Trader Joe's location on 17th Street is the first TJ's store in the nation to offer a free wine tasting bar.
