Wednesdays Sommelier Richard Slutter presides over weekly Cellar Selection Wednesdays at Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue's XIX Nineteen Restaurant. Each Wednesday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Slutter guides guests through a themed tasting of five to six wines for $20. This event also includes light fare from XIX chef Marc Plessis. program at hotels around the country, including Philadelphia
at the signature Chez
Colette French bistro. Designed to make wine tasting affordable
and less intimidating, the program offers a menu of nearly
30 reasonably priced wines by the glass. The pairings are
grouped under headings such as “winning whites for everyday
drinking” and “cabernets from three continents”
to demystify the wine tasting and make the selection process
easier for beginners. Each flight includes three two-ounce
glasses that range in price from $11-$21. Cheeses that pair
