November 20 As the site of the 17th Annual Festival du Beaujolais Nouveau, the rustic Herban Feast building in SoDo will be transformed into a French village brimming with Beaujolais Nouveau wine tastings and authentic French food, including classic dishes from Campagne and Café Campagne. From 6:00-10:00 p.m., guests can meet and talk with chefs, cheese masters, and food purveyors while touring the village. Tickets are $48 per person in advance or $68 at the door. November 22 End your weekend with E.B. Foote Winery's Jazz Night & Wine Tasting starting at 5:30 p.m. Wayne Miller and Friends will relax you with their jazz tunes from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. while you enjoy the winery's current releases and snacks. Wine will also be available by the glass for $5 cash. Only guests 21 years of age or older may attend. Admission costs $10 and advanced ticket purchases are recommended. Ongoing Pike and Western in Pike Place Market offers free tastings most Fridays, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. The store also offers “themed tastings” focused on rotating varietals or wines of a particular region for a fee. First Thursdays The first Thursday of every month, Spitfire features a three-course menu with tequila pairings. These events are meant to be entertaining and enlightening.
