June 1-30 This June, Legal Sea Foods is offering a treat for Dad with the Whiskeys of the World and the Taste of Tawny Port flights. The Whiskeys of the World flight will feature one-ounce pours of Oban 14, Bulliet and Black Bush whiskey; this tasting offering is exclusively available in Washington at Legal Sea Foods (704 Seventh St. NW). The Taste of Tawny Port flight will be available at two of Legal Sea Foods’ Washington area locations (704 Seventh St. NW and in Tysons Corner at 2001 International Dr., McLean, Va.). The flight features one-ounce pours of the Delaforce “His Eminence’s Choice,” a ten-year-old port with honeyed aromas and rich fruit; Taylor Fladgate, a richly textured 20-year-old port; and Graham’s 30-year-old port, rich with a long aftertaste of caramel and raisin. Ongoing Inspired by the success of its Earth Day organic wine offerings, Urbana Restaurant & Wine Bar is launching an all-organic wine menu, called “Per l’amore della terra,” or “For the love of the earth,” in Italian, featuring selections including 2005 Tasca D’Almerita, Regaleali Bianco from Sicily and 2003 Moroder, Rosso Conero from Marche. Running through Labor Day, Urbana will be offering bottles of these and other eco-friendly wines at half-price in the dining room from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week.
