Do Not Pass Cheers, Do Not Collect $200
Wine-opoly Board Game
by Laurie Hartzell

Although you shouldn’t need an excuse to pop open a good bottle of vino for friends, Wine-opoly will certainly give you the opportunity. After all, how could you play this Monopoly variant without sipping on a glass of one of your properties? Instead of places, players can land on types of wine—the least expensive property is “Sangria” while the priciest is “Champagne.” Other properties range from "Chardonnay" to "Gamay" and include both reds and whites. When players land on the “Red” or the “White” space, they must draw from a stack of cards and learn that they’re “starting a home wine cellar—lose one turn for construction” or that there’s “red wine on your little black dress—pay $50 for cleaning.” The dreaded “go directly to jail card” has been reinterpreted as “you need to ferment—go directly to Wine Cellar.” But this wine game is not all fun and…games, for on the back of each property card are facts about the type of wine featured on the front. Learning some facts, drinking wine, enjoying friendly company—what could be better?

Suggested Retail: $24.99
