Most people don’t have the time, experience or money to start up their own winery in France, but with Wine Tycoon, you can do it all from the comfort of home. This computer game from Got Game Limited allows players to create vineyards (and more than 40 different wines) in ten of France’s most prestigious regions, such as Burgundy and Champagne. The goal of this simulation game is to become a wealthy wine baron. Players must, through micro-management, build up their chateau, tend to vineyards, hire and fire workers, and make sure their viticultural equipment is well maintained. As a bonus to its educational potential, Wine Tycoon includes an in-depth encyclopedia that explains important wine terminology.
