THE ICE BUCKET
Vacuvin Prestige Champagne Cooler
This
sleek, space-age-like contraption works much like its counterpart,
the Prestige Wine Cooler. Instead
of letting Champagne sit for hours in the refrigerator,
where it may get too cold, or in a traditional ice bucket,
where it may get wet and messy, the Champagne Cooler can
quickly chill a bottle and keep it at the right temperature
for hours. The stainless steel cooler comes with its own
Rapid Ice pack, which must be placed in the freezer for
six hours before using the cooler. Once frozen, the ice
pack will chill the bottle in approximately 15 minutes.
For such a simple device, however, the price is a tad high
at $50. Fortunately, cost-cutters will find that the Rapid
Ice pack is sold separately at a much more affordable $15.
