Tasting
Notes: This
single-vineyard Zin is merely the latest triumph for Barbara and Timothy
Spelletich. A red-current and eucalyptus nose lead the way to forward
flavors of brewed tea with lingering sweet, baked berries and caramel
at the back of the palate. A bold, full-bodied wine, our only complaint
would have to be the alcohol level. Breaking the 17% mark, we feel the
alcohol of this Zin crosses all barriers of subtlety and grace. (Date

One of the smallest bonded wineries in the Napa Valley, Spelletich
is the pride and joy of family winemakers Timothy and Barbara Spelletich.
In addition to consistently top quality Zinfandels, the winery produces
