Tasting
Notes: With a nose of blackberries and black
cherries mingled with a subtle earthiness not unlike wet mud, this Cab
Franc offers all the telltale components of wine craftsmanship from
vineyard to bottle. Cherry richness dominates the wine's powerful flavors.
Although high acidity makes for a clean, solid wine, we find the 1999
overly acidic, a trait that dominates the rather rough finish. (Date
