Tasting Notes: Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Sangiovese and Petit Sirah, it is no surprise that this 1997 offers a gorgeous, deep purple hue. The spicy nose alludes to the wine's blackberry and cassis flavors. A rich, full body gives way to the long and complex finish with hints of coffee, cocoa and anise.
