GIVES A BIG BLUEBERRY KICK
Jer-ne's Blueberi Moscow Mule
A new beverage joins the lineup of potables at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey’s jer-ne restaurant + bar. The restaurant’s new signature drink is the Blueberi Moscow Mule Cocktail, which consists of Stoli Blueberi and Cock ‘n’ Bull Ginger Beer with fresh blueberries. Although it is the latest addition to jer-ne’s array of beverages, the concoction has been around for decades. The Moscow Mule Cocktail was invented in 1941 by John “Jack” Morgan—owner of the Cock ‘n’ Bull Tavern, a bar on Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard popular with celebrities—and John G. Martin of G.F. Heublein Brothers, Inc.—an East Coast spirits and food distributor. Moscow Mule Cocktail’s fame during the 1950s helped vodka overtake gin in popularity as the clear liquor-of-choice in the United States.
