Tasting Notes: An opaque ruby creature with purple hues unleashes crushed minty black currant and deep color berry flavors. A smile of toasted oak greets you. Her medium body dresses your tongue with silky elegance and continues to deliver fruit flavors in layers and reveals its naked spicy tannins. We wished the pleasure continued just a bit longer. Profile: Justin and Deborah Baldwin are realizing their dream of gentleman farmers. Justin was somewhat of a visionary in picking this spot for their estate program back in the early '80s. A dedication to quality and an ongoing search for the perfect Bordeaux blend in California keep the winemaking team challenged. But, that same dedication has delivered the flagship Isosceles and many other delectable offerings. To fully appreciate the efforts of the Baldwins, you have to report to their idyllic operation, complete with a very private Inn, a fine restaurant, a bustling tasting room and a killer hospitality center.
